Mission with Mexico ~ 2014 – DAY THREE

We had a fantastic day today! We were wondering if there was any work left to do. Wellll, we moved a pile of sand and a pile of gravel by filling buckets and carrying the contents to a new location on the property. The engineers with us believe we moved 5-6 ton of sand and 5-6 ton of gravel, as Ray says, “one bucket at a time.” We also worked on the second level placing 90 cinder blocks between the beams. The openings in the edge blocks needed to be stuffed with little rocks to prevent the concert we pour from running into the holes.

The sun was shining from the start of the day, so it’s hard to tell if we are exhausted from the physical labor or the heat…probably both!
