Mission with Mexico ~ 2014 Day Four

What a joy to see 80+ children from age 5-15 at the Shalom Church’s children’s ministry. They have 180 registered children from the near neighborhoods and from far away neighborhoods. A staff of 30 people from the church share God’s love with the children each Saturday from 9am to 2pm. The WELL organized ministry includes and opening assembly followed by small group Bible studies (by ages). Then the children rotate among Music, Sports, Origami, English lessons, and Crafts. The children eat lunch, go to a closing assembly, and wait for their parents to come. WOW!!

Glenn, Judy, and Beka led one group in songs; Beverly tried Origami with the teens; and we all helped lead the Hokey Pokey at the end of the English lesson (what a sight!).
